Wheelchair/scooter accessibility:
A wheelchair is available for use by members of the public on request. Wheelchair bathroom facilities are available.

Belconnen Arts Centre is committed to offering a strong program of accessible arts events, and the Centre is home to ACT Community Cultural Inclusion Officers. The CCIOs work together with the community to present events such as the outstanding annual visual arts exhibition celebrating International Day of People with Disability.

BAC also hosts a monthly inclusive community dance program titled Room to Move and the weekly Dance for People with Parkinsons class. Look under Classes and Workshops for more details or to join in!

In 2012 and 2013 Belconnen Arts Centre received the Chief Minister’s Inclusion Award in the Arts category. The Inclusion Awards acknowledge achievements of organisations that have clearly demonstrated their commitment to encourage, welcome and support people with a disability in the community.
