Belconnen Arts Centre wishes to thank all of its fantastic Ambassadors for their hard work and dedication. We are a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the arts, and our growth would not be possible without the help of our wonderful Donors, Volunteers, Members, Partners and Artists.
Donations to Belconnen Arts Centre above $2.00 are tax deductible, and a great way to help directly support the varied events, workshops and programs of the centre. If you're interested in making a contribution, please download the donation form here!
Belconnen Arts Centre is recruiting volunteers to help out in the centre, on the picturesque banks of Lake Ginninderra. Volunteers have the opportunity to become a vital part of the centre's operations by donating their time, skills and experience. Volunteers will gain access and exposure to a wide range of artistic practise, gain new skills and share company with people who are also interested in spending time in this beautiful new arts environment. Particular areas where we would appreciate your assistance range from simple tasks like answering the phone, coordinating media clippings and office support, hosting the kiosk and assisting with exhibitions, events and workshops, collating information for e-news, and web and data entry for people who have good computer skills.
Volunteers will also be invited to undertake initiatives in their own right as the Arts Centre develops over time.
If you would like to volunteer, please fill in the above forms and submit with a short CV to:
Belconnen Arts Centre Incorporated

Assistance with recruiting and training volunteers will be made with ACT Volunteering, currently based in Belconnen.
Membership of Belconnen Arts Centre is open to any business or organisation having a stakeholder interest in Belconnen. Each member organisation is represented by an individual delegate for the purpose of communications and participation in general meetings of the association and nomination and election of Board members.
Members may also participate in other aspects of the Ambassadors Program and may also be hirers of space in the art centre or provide services to the organisation. Members are encouraged to make their own organisation or business staff and members aware of the activities of Belconnen Arts Centre through their own communications such as newsletters.
By becoming a partner or sponsor your organisation can share the benefits of supporting the arts in Belconnen and at the same time create opportunities and vital connections for your own staff and members.
Belconnen Arts Centre Incorporated aims to establish a Public Fund and register for deductible gift recipient status with the ATO through approval on the register of Cultural Organisations. This will enable donors to provide tax-deductible support to the organisation to further its objectives and raise income from sources besides grant funding and venue hire.
The organisation will also share resources with other organisations as appropriate for the further development of the arts in Belconnen and to enable maximum access to the community.
At this point, fundraising initiatives will be limited to the capacity of staff and volunteers to manage such activities and can only be undertaken where such activity is in harmony with the objects of the organisation.
Every emerging artist can benefit from a mentor and so the opportunity to provide a connection between emerging and professional artists at Belconnen Arts Centre is one that we hope to offer through a number of initiatives.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor or are seeking a mentor, please contact the Program Manager.
