just passing through... are sculptural works borne from a desire to engage with the landscape,
both constructed and natural. They are observations of the space we travel through – its shape,
history and subtle change. An engagement that has been taking place for a seemingly endless time,
leaving invisible and discernible traces to lead us along our journey...
Belconnen Arts Centre awarded Heike Qualitz this exhibition as part of the
Australian National University, School of Art, Emerging Artist Support Scheme.
