Death of a Swearword - Martin Paull

14 February

In this series of paintings Martin has depicted the Stations of the Cross using bushfire imagery. Bushfires have been a key theme throughout his work, stemming from his experiences in the Adelaide Hills during the Ash Wednesday bushfires in 1983.

Following residency in China, Sarit explores the identity, role and relevance of Jewish culture and its relationship to other cultures. The sharing of food at a dinner table is a time for nourishment of body and mind – a time to review the minutiae of the day or larger social issues that engage and concern us all. This exhibition reflects the possibility of free flowing debate, story telling and cultural exchange.

Liquid Light - Angharad Dean

19 November-5 December

Angharad Dean follows two parallel paths: the flickering light in constant flux and the smooth flow of light over water and in the air. Dean uses oils and pastels to capture in two dimension this four dimensional phenomenon, taking the viewer on a journey across water, as it constantly moves and catches and releases light. If one looks closely, this effect is found throughout nature.
