Angharad Dean follows two parallel paths: the flickering light in constant flux and the smooth flow of light over water and in the air. Dean uses oils and pastels to capture in two dimension this four dimensional phenomenon, taking the viewer on a journey across water, as it constantly moves and catches and releases light. If one looks closely, this effect is found throughout nature.
