Beverley Thomas, Calvary Hospital Artist-in-Residence
13–29 May
Thomas’ work is about portraying what she sees when she moves into another space, gaining inspiration from the surprisingly lush vegetation amid the hard, beautiful landscapes in Central Australia. Thomas uses colour, movement and light to create her tapestries and paintings, which are designed to assist patients in recovery, or gaining acceptance of their condition, while spurring the imagination. Supported by Calvary Hospital ACT.
