Painting and Drawing with Philippa Hofgartner

Beginners: Monday 10:00am–12:30pm
Term > 1 November – 6 December (6 weeks)

These courses are for beginners or for those needing the rudimentary skills of drawing and painting. Develop your observation powers using various "techniques of seeing'. Subject matter will include still life, figure, portrait and perspective scenes. Price includes basic materials.

Continuing: Tuesday 10:00am–12:30pm
Term > 2 November – 7 December (6 weeks)

These courses are for continuing students.  Continue to develop your observation powers using various "techniques of seeing'. Subject matter will include still life, figure, portrait and perspective scenes. Price includes basic materials.

Painting with Acrylics with Joy McDonald

Wednesday 1:30–3:30pm
Term > 3 November – 8 December (6 weeks)

The modern painting medium of acrylics is incredibly adaptable for a wide range of techniques from transparent watercolour washes to rich impasto.  This course will introduce students to a range of support materials, equipment and painting mediums used in acrylic painting.  Through an exploration of still life, landscape and figurative subjects, you will experiment with colour mixing, composition and acrylic painting techniques. No previous experience is necessary.
