SATURDAY SPACE — BAC Children’s Workshops

EX-PLAWING DRAWING (Ages 7–12)

Saturday > 10:00am–12:00pm

Look at the many aspects of drawing skills, and then try out fun ways in which to use those skills across other mediums — in collage, mono printing on paper or fabric and three dimensional work. Bring your imagination and we will go on this exciting creative journey together.
Term > 11 February–31 March (8 weeks)

READY, STEADY, PAINT! (Ages 7–12)

Saturday > 10:00am–12:00pm

On your marks...! Come see what you can do in this exciting exploration of paint. From watercolour pencils to acrylic, to coloured inks, you will have heaps of fun unleashing your inner artiste!
Term > 12 May–30 June (8 weeks)
Cost > $220, includes materials

 

EX-PLAWING DRAWING & READY STEADY PAINT SHORT COURSES (Ages 7–12)

Saturday > 2:00–4:00pm

These short courses offer a condensed version of the full term programs offered above — perfect as a taster of the fantastic creative arts program, or for those kids who just can't get out of bed in the morning!

Terms > 3–31 March & 16 June–7 July (4 weeks per term)
Cost > $110 per course, includes materials

How to get to Belconnen Arts Centre:

    118 Emu Bank, Belconnen, ACT [Google Maps]
  • OPENING HOURS:
    Tuesday – Sunday 10:00am – 5:00pm
    Except for regular classes and special events
  • BUS:
    ACTION [Timetable Information] - 300 series buses to Belconnen, get off at Belconnen Community Bus Station and walk down to the Centre, or Route 45 directly to the Centre.
  • CAR:
    Enter eastern end Emu Bank from either Aikman Drive or Eastern Valley Way, from the western end off Joynton Smith Drive or directly opposite the end of Benjamin Way
  • PARKING:
