Spring program - Creative Art Classes

Stencil Art Workshop with E.L.K

Introductory - Saturday 25 September > 10:00am–5:00pm
Photorealism in Stencils - Saturday 13 November > 10:00am-5:00pm

Cost: $150 including materials

These one day courses are led by international stencil artist E.L.K. The workshops explore the fundamental techniques of producing stencil art for beginners, and then move into finer details and develop advanced techniques of photo-realistic stencil art.

Students can expect to come away from these courses pretty awesome at making stencils.

Tools and materials will be provided (but pack your own lunch, or buy it at the mall).

BIO

E.L.K (Luke Cornish) 29 year-old self taught stencil artist from Canberra, Australia has been producing work since 2003. He is fast becoming well respected amongst his peers and is in much demand nationally.

Having recently won the award for most popular piece at the Melbourne Stencil Festival Poster Competition and becoming a finalist in the Australian Stencil Art Prize, his approach to photo-realistic stencilling can easily be referred to as world class.

E.L.K has recently showcased the "Your kid cant do this" Stencil exhibition in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney, featuring works from 23 stencil artists from around the world (www.yourkidcantdothis.com)

E.L.K's works have been shown in a diverse range of Group shows in USA, UK, Iran, Germany and Australia and are held in public and private collections worldwide.

    Except for regular classes and special events
  • BUS:
    ACTION [Timetable Information] - 300 series buses to Belconnen, get off at Cameron Avenue Bus Station and walk down to Emu Bank.

    Enter eastern end Emu Bank from either Aikman Drive or Eastern Valley Way, from the western end off Joynton Smith Drive or directly opposite the end of Benjamin Way
