FEAST: Indulgence, Savouring and Delectation

Negative Space by Paula Gowens

FEAST: indulgence, savouring and delectation

An exhibition by artists from Illawarra Association for the Visual Arts (IAVA)

Showing > 1 July – 23 July in the Main Gallery

Exhibition Opening > 5.30pm, Friday 30 June

The word feast has connotations of plenty in many forms, from the gustatory to the aesthetic.  Artists from IAVA have played with the theme and produced a sumptuous offering of colour, form and delight. Artworks range from visions of Antarctic cathedrals of light to quirky explorations of inner realities. It’s a tasty mix of paintings, drawings and sculptural works.
