Belconnen Arts Centre wishes to thank all of its fantastic supporters for their hard work and dedication. We are a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the arts, and our growth would not be possible without the help of our wonderful Friends, Donors, Volunteers, Members, Partners and Artists.
The Friendship program is a great way to get involved in the Belconnen Arts Centre community. You'll receive invitations to Friends events, discounted entry to workshops and events presented by Belconnen Arts Centre, discounts on purchases at the kiosk and on merchandise, entry in giveaways, and much more to be announced. Download an application form or find out more about the benefits of joining!
Belconnen Arts Centre offers leadership and vision in connecting artists with audiences. With your gift, you can help to ensure a vibrant, sustainable Arts Centre is able to flourish for the Belconnen community, and for all of Canberra. Donations to Belconnen Arts Centre above $2.00 are tax deductible, and a great way to help directly support the varied events, workshops and programs of the centre. You can make a secure online gift through GiveNow, or you can send in your gift form by mail!
Belconnen Arts Centre is recruiting volunteers to help out in the Centre, on the picturesque banks of Lake Ginninderra. Volunteers have the opportunity to become a vital part of the Centre's operations by donating their time, skills and experience. Volunteers will gain access and exposure to a wide range of artistic practise, gain new skills and share company with people who are also interested in spending time in this beautiful arts environment. Particular areas where we would appreciate your assistance range from simple tasks like answering the phone, coordinating media clippings and office support, hosting the kiosk and assisting with exhibitions, events and workshops, collating information for e-news, and web and data entry for people who have good computer skills.
Volunteers will also be invited to undertake initiatives in their own right as the Arts Centre develops over time.
If you would like to volunteer, please fill in the above forms and submit with a short CV to:
Belconnen Arts Centre Incorporated
PO Box 183, Belconnen ACT 2617
Phone: 02 6173 3300
Assistance with recruiting and training volunteers will be made with ACT Volunteering, currently based in Belconnen.
Membership of Belconnen Arts Centre is open to any business or organisation having a stakeholder interest in Belconnen. Each member organisation is represented by an individual delegate for the purpose of communications and participation in general meetings of the association and nomination and election of Board members.
Members may also be volunteers or donors and may also be hirers of space in the art centre or provide services to the organisation. Members are encouraged to make their own organisation or business staff and members aware of the activities of Belconnen Arts Centre through their own communications such as newsletters.
By becoming a partner or sponsor your organisation can share the benefits of supporting the arts in Belconnen and at the same time create opportunities and vital connections for your own staff and members.
To discuss a potential partnership, please contact Jack Lloyd, Business & Operations Director.
Every emerging artist can benefit from a mentor and so the opportunity to provide a connection between emerging and professional artists at Belconnen Arts Centre is one that we hope to offer through a number of initiatives.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor or are seeking a mentor, please contact the Program Manager.
For further information on how you can get involved, just email email@example.com or call the Belconnen Arts Centre on (02) 6173 3300.
