Colour of Sound — Painting with Parkinsons

26 September–14 October » Foyer

An exhibition emerging from a collaborative project between musicians at the ANU School of Music and the art program Painting with Parkinsons. Music’s ability to elicit vivid associations with colour, emotion and memory is an ideal catalyst for initiating painting, particularly in a therapy art context. This is a vital and compelling visual/sound conversation between players and painters, with movement, mood and composition informing a rich and engaging experience. A documentary by Ivo Lovric will be on view.

Exhibition opening > Saturday 29 September > 3:00pm
Meet the artists > Saturday 6 October > 2:00pm
