Since 1974, internationally-known designer, sculptor and artist working in clay Peter Travis AM has been creating kites and aerial sculptures for gallery installations, architectural interiors and the well-known Bondi Festival of the Winds. Invitations to international kite festivals led him to develop a remarkable collection of folk kites made by people from many countries. This exhibition presents an assortment of his collection as well as photos of his kite installations and working drawings. |

Glass Weave is the second solo exhibition of new works in hot blown and kiln formed glass inspired by traditional Aboriginal woven eel traps, fish traps and baskets by Jenni Kemarre Martiniello. It pays tribute to the survival of the oldest living weaving practices in the world through the contemporary medium of glass, which together are living expressions of cultural survival. |
