Open Your Eyes... Observations and Interpretations
& Hidden Treasures — The soul and spirit of the Multicultural Community
Presented by the ACT Multicultural Arts Officer

30 March–22 April » Gallery

The annual exhibition coordinated by the ACT Multicultural Arts Officer, featuring a vibrant selection of works by six local Canberran artists from different cultural backgrounds: Surya Bajracharya (Nepal); Nida Bangash (Pakistan); Dionisia Salas (Spain/Chile); Marzena Wasikowska (Poland); Yoko Yamaguchi (Japan) and Michal Glikson. Open Your Eyes shows how art can act as an intercultural language, bringing artists together to share personal reflections and interpretations of their spirit and cultural heritage.

The companion exhibition Hidden Treasures reveals ways in which cultural heritage is kept alive from one generation to another.
