The Art of Life Drawing

The Art of Life Drawing

The Art of Life Drawing with John Forrester Clack

Wednesdays > 6:00pm – 9:00pm

Term 2 | 16 May – 4 July

An intensive drawing experience for both the adventurous beginner and the more experienced practitioner, this course is a challenging, in-depth and comprehensive introduction to the art of drawing. Built over 8 weeks, the course not only introduces the student to drawing, but will also push each student further and deeper into the experience that only an intensive drawing course can provide. Each week, students will be introduced to different aspects and materials of drawing; from studied life drawing to adventurous experimentation in mark making, these two approaches will go hand-in-hand to build confidence and a far-reaching visual vocabulary, that in turn will provide the student with a rich and rewarding understanding.
