Open Dance for Wellbeing class

Please come and dance with us in a fun one-hour 15-minute open dance class to wake up your brain and body! Based on the class model by Dance for PD from Brooklyn and the Dance for Wellbeing program, it will include seated and standing exercises and is suitable for all levels of ability, mobility and experience. Wheelchairs are welcome. Evidence-based research increasingly indicates that dance is one of the best forms of exercise for keeping the brain, body and spirit active, engaged and challenged. Just be prepared to have fun and laugh lots!
This open dance class precedes the Sunday performances for Dance on the Edge 2018 – stick around after class for more dance inspiration!
