An exhibition by artists from Illawarra Association for the Visual Arts (IAVA)

Showing > 1 July – 23 July in the Main Gallery

The word feast has connotations of plenty in many forms, from the gustatory to the aesthetic.  Artists from IAVA have played with the theme and produced a sumptuous offering of colour, form and delight. Artworks range from visions of Antarctic cathedrals of light to quirky explorations of inner realities. It’s a tasty mix of paintings, drawings and sculptural works.

I like pursuing perceptual ambiguity in a world of second-hand images. I draw to research and rehearse. I inhabit the architecture of the already-pictured… https://www.iavacontempart.org/artists/paula-gowans/
