5-7 year old sessions
In this session, we’ll spend some time in the beginning thinking and using our imaginations to decide what we’d like to make. We’ll then use a range of ready-cut cardboard of different shapes, sizes, weights and textures to bring those ideas to life! Children will have the opportunity to work either individually or as part of a group (or both!) depending on the nature and scale of their idea. At the end of the session, we’ll photograph everyone with their artwork, so you’ll always have a record of it – even it ends up being too big to take home.
*Please note – four year olds may also attend this session if accompanied by an adult.
8-12 year old sessions
We’ll begin the day by doing some sketching to create a plan for what to make before learning a few important techniques for cutting, folding, joining and manipulating cardboard to bring those ideas to life! From there, children will have the opportunity to work individually or as part of a group (or both) to realise their creations, depending on the nature and scale of their idea. At the end of the session, we’ll photograph everyone with their artwork, so you’ll always have a record of it – even it ends up being too big to take home.
