Belconnen Arts Centre is growing! Over 2018 & 2019 we will be completing the arts centre with a new performance space, exhibition galleries, dance and visual arts classrooms and more. The building project is scheduled to commence early next year. We’ll continually update our website to keep you informed over the coming months for space availability during the construction period. CREATIVE WORKSHOP SPACE FOR HIRE
Located beside the light filled Foyer Gallery space, Belconnen Arts Centre features two large creative workshop spaces which are suitable for large art projects and craft classes, or as a setting to get creative as a business or departmental team. The Creative Workshops accommodate both children’s and adult’s creative arts classes and are the home of our popular School Holiday Programs.
Overlooking Lake Ginninderra and with access to an enclosed courtyard, this is the perfect environment to hold a class, develop ideas or challenge your team. Utilise our network of local artists and teachers to deliver customised art classes for your team. And if you are an artist yourself, you may like to discuss using the space as a cost-effective base from which to run your own classes and workshops. Step out to take in the exhibitions in the gallery, order a coffee from the kiosk or stretch your legs at the lake. This is a flexible space which can be customised to suit a variety of needs.
Both workshops can be set up with tables and chairs or easels. Chairs and tables are also available for under 5 year olds.
